July in Fano is the month of great musical events, in particular with the event "Fano Jazz by the Sea" now in its thirty-first edition; also the personal photography "La forma del suono" will have as a narrative theme music, with images by Chiara Broccoli and the care of Marcello Sparaventi at the Caffè Centrale in Fano and the CentralEicola open-air gallery in Piazza Amiani, organized by the cultural association Centrale Fotografia in collaboration with the Caffè Centrale of Fano and the newsstand A. D. News. The inauguration will be Friday, July 21, 2023 at 9.15 PM with the intervention of Adriano Pedini director of Fano Jazz by the Sea, in front of the Caffè Centrale di Fano in corso Matteotti n. 104 (back of the newsstand in piazza Amiani and in front of the Memo).
What and how many shapes can sound? How can a photo play music?
The images of Chiara Broccoli for the exhibition "The shape of sound" want to try to tell all this by capturing the gestures, expressions and movements of musicians, freezing moments of pure creativity and artistic communication, with an intimate look at the magic that is created on stage.
A new cultural event in the historic heart of the city of Fano, where the culture of photography has been rooted for many years with events, exhibitions and festivals that take place throughout the year, while in June the 14th edition of Centrale Festival was successfully held at the Rocca Malatestiana in Fano, an event of national importance born at the Caffè Centrale in Fano in 2009 that will be revived in a new guise "Milano Centrale Festival"exhibitions and events held in various locations adjacent to Milan Central Station.
THE AUTHOR
Chiara Broccoli, a young artistic exponent, just over thirty, in 2011, during her studies at the University of Urbino, discovered her passion for photography and attended a course in digital photography, and then also get closer to analogue photography during the Erasmus in Madrid. During all his travels, the camera becomes his best companion. Moved to Siena for work in 2015, she perfected the study of analog photography by attending a dark room set-up course and developing black and white negatives. After returning to Fano in 2020, he continued his studies as a photographer attending advanced photography courses, post-production and stage photography workshops with professional photographer Andrea Rotili. From 2022, she became a photographer in the events "Passaggi Festival", "Fano Jazz By The Sea" and "Terre Sonore", in 2023 she is the official fo-tografa of the "Carnival of Fano" and of "I Malatesta in Fano". In the meantime, he began collaborations with some photographic associations in Fano, and approached "Centrale Fotografia" participating in the educational project "Tra realtà e messa in scena" realized with the collaboration of Cinema Masetti and Centrale Festival.
