It is the eighth centenary of the presence of the Franciscan Friars Minor on the hill of Santa Maria di Scotaneto, once rich in Scotani, now known as the Sanctuary of Blessed Sante. At the foot of the Selva, on what our grandparents once called "Fairytale Hill", Saturday, July 22 at 5:30 AM will be held a concert at dawn by Master Willem Peerik where you can listen to "Franciscan Laudae" of 1200 and admire a breathtaking view of the sea at the dawn of the sun.
For those interested in participating is recommended arrival at 5:20 at the parking lot of the Sanctuary of Blessed Sante, from there a shuttle bus will accompany you to the place where the concert will be held. We suggest you bring a blanket to sit or lie on the lawn during the listening of the "Franciscan Laudae" and to gaze at the dawn. We also invite you, for greater comfort, to wear suitable clothing and shoes in view of the nature walk.
In the afternoons of Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July from 4 PM to 8 PM there will be walks in the woods by the Carabinieri Forestali.
