Fanum Fortunae - La Fano dei Cesari

The Fano dei Cesari is among the most felt events within the summer program, both by tourists citizens, rich and engaging for adults and children. During these days the city will be filled with camps and educational that will come alive every day thanks to the collaboration of many historical re-enactors from all over Italy, best representing the spirit of Fano dei Cesari and the Fanum Fortunae of the Roman era.

The City to Play is an initiative organized by the Municipality of Fano as part of the Children's City project, born in 1994 from the request of the Children's Council to claim their right to use public spaces and move around the streets of the city in safety and autonomy . The City Council accepted this request and the city of Fano organizes a demonstration once a year in May, closing the streets to traffic and giving them to children to play.

On 15 and 16 April 2023, Piazzale Alceo Pucci is transformed into a square, a welcoming and narrating place between the blue of the sea and the charm of the countryside where you can discover the rural village of Metaurilia and learn about its "cabbage" history.
