Primus pictor in orbe: the first painter in the world, this is how Perugino is described in the 1488 contract that took him to work in Fano where he would create two eminent works: the Durante Altarpiece and the Annunciation.
The Durante Altarpiece, restored to its lost splendor, will witness an unprecedented event that highlights the strength of an emblematic case.
The exhibition-dossier will allow you to see, like never before, the Altarpiece and each of its sections, around which reports of the exceptional restoration and fundamental comparisons will be arranged, thanks to digital reproductions.

It is possible to book the extraordinary opening for school visits to be carried out on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9.00 to 13.00.

Groups of at least 15 people, from 18 to 26 years. With the Fano Visit Card you can take advantage of the reduced rate of €5.
Free admission
Up to 18 years of age, MIC staff, disabled people and their companions, tourist guides with a valid licence, journalists with a valid card, teaching staff with a school certificate, ICOM members.
The ticket includes entry to the Museum of the Malatestiano Palace.
